Local Modality GP surgeries support Manorlands with fundraising

Teams from Modality AWC supporting Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice

Staff from GP surgeries across Keighley, Silsden and Skipton are backing Manorlands Hospice with their fundraising throughout 2024, starting with the Keighley 10k and 5k next month.

The running events take place on Sunday 10th March in the town, with teams from Modality AWC practices joining forces to raise money for the hospice.

Modality AWC operates ten GP surgeries across our area - Fisher Medical Centre in Skipton, doctors in Cross Hills, Steeton, Silsden, Haworth, Oakworth, plus the Farfield, Holycroft, Kilmeny and Long Lee surgeries in Keighley.

Local doctor and executive partner Dr Brendan Kennedy said: “We employ over 400 people locally and our team really values the support Manorlands can give patients and families at the most crucial times in life.

"We have supported Manorlands informally over the years, but we really wanted to help promote and fundraise for one of our vital local charities. We are delighted to be sponsoring this years Keighley 10K and 5K and we look forward to seeing lots of runners and supporters at this great event for the area”

You can still sign up for the Keighley 10K and 5K next month by tapping here.

Later in the year Modality AWC will be supporting the Manorlands Mascot Gold Cup and will organise a Manorlands fundraising family day for staff and their families.
