The whole of West Yorkshire is to be placed under the 'Very High' (Tier 3) level of Covid restrictions from Monday.
The restrictions will apply from 00:01 on Monday 2 November. Until then, 'High' (Tier 2) restrictions remain in place.
West Yorkshire will join neighbouring areas of South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Lancashire are already under Tier 3.
North Yorkshire will remain in Medium (Tier 1).
