Wall of Fame plan for Keighley Civic Centre

Keighley's heroes are to be celebrated in a new exhibition being put together by the town council - and your suggestions are needed.

Keighley Town Council says the 'Wall of Fame' will be in the new downstairs project gallery at the Civic Centre - and it wants to recognise the people who have made a 'real contribution' to the Keighley community since the Town Council was established in April 2002.

A spokesperson said: "There are some obvious candidates such as the late great Captain Tom Moore and Ian Dewhirst - however we would like to feature some of Keighley’s unsung local heroes and give them the credit and recognition they deserve."

You can email your suggestions to info@keighley.gov.uk with 'Wall of Fame' in the subject line, also with reasons why you're nominating the person and a high quality photo if possible.
