In the Concert Hall, we will have stalls from:

Skipton Civic Society
The team will display a fun quiz based on their new ‘String of Beads’ heritage trail, and their work completed as part of the Conservation and Heritage Project. Artists Ailsa Lewer and Carine Brosse will show off their wonderful textile map, created by families and residents around the town, which was inspired by the new trail, available to follow on the What Was Here? app.

Dogs’ Dales
See the brilliant dog models and characters straight from the Dogs’ Dales app, and take part in finger puppet-making!

Skipton Library
There will be a display of the new Pub Crawl and Coach Street heritage trails including a film showing the Here and Now work of Craven College students.

Watch this Space
The Humans of Skipton photo exhibition returns, with eight wonderful images of residents around the town!

Craven Music Match
Billy White showcases the music videos he has created with Craven Music Match artists as part of the HAZ scheme. Craven musicians were paired up to write and produce an original song as well as create their own music videos. This gave emerging artists the opportunity to make their own music and learn the ropes of music production.

Yarndale
Drop in to Yarndale’s free workshop and find out about the fun work they do! Look out for their ‘wordy’ bunting.

Craven Arts House
Enjoy a display about the developments at the former school on Otley Street which is now home to the Craven Arts Trust. Join in the free paper-cutting workshop – an interesting and unusual form of art!

Artist commissions
Artists Phoebe Scott and Molly Bland will display their works, created as part of the HAZ initiative to commission young people to create artistic interpretations to their heritage.

Heritage Action Zone works
North Yorkshire Council will also display information about the public realm and capital works completed around the town as part of the scheme, such as reconstructing Victoria Street to be more accessible, extensive works to the Town Hall, and artistic installations/renovations to the ginnels.

In the Education Room, families and visitors can join in free workshops! The sessions are drop-in, running from 1 to 4pm. Enjoy making clay creations inspired by iconic heritage landmarks around the town, or join Fresh Perspective as they paint a new mural.

Lastly, in the Hub Room, charge up the ‘people-powered cinema’ with Yorkshire Film Archive – this sustainable cinema is pedal-powered, a unique and environmentally-friendly way to watch films!
