Work is ongoing to update the raised flower beds

The Friends of Ilkley Riverside Parks are appealing for local support as the voluntary group, which maintains and updates the riverside area in Ilkley, have been selected as a recipient in the Co-op Local Community Fund.

Friends Chair Ed Duguid told Rombalds Radio: “We are delighted to announce that we have again been selected as a recipient of the Co-op Local Community Fund which has been officially launched and will run for 12 months closing on 21st October 2023.

“With your support we are hopeful the scheme will generate sufficient funds to enable us to complete the refurbishment of the Raised Flower Beds adjacent to the Riverside Hotel and make significant progress in replanting the Embankment by the Memorial Steps.”
