Keighley Mayor to have head shaved for local hospice fundraiser

Keighley Town Council's Mayor Julie Adams has announced she's to have her head shaved as part of fundraising efforts for the Manorlands and Martin House hospices.

Councillor Adams hopes to raise at least £500, with the head shave booked in to take place on Saturday 14th May at the town's Sainsbury's store on Cavendish Street.

Students from Keighley College will do the head shaving at 11am on the day and all are welcome to go along and watch the challenge.

The fundraiser is in aid of the Mayor's Charitable Trust, which this year is supporting Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and the Martin House Children's Hospice.
