Motorcyclist taken to hospital after Carleton crash

Police say a motorbike rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision on Thursday morning near Carleton-in-Craven.

Diversions were still in place on Thursday lunchtime, following the incident at around 9.10am.

Officers say it was a serious single-vehicle collision, with emergency services on scene.

The rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries. 

Diversions are in place on Carleton Lane up to crossroads with Moor Lane, and from West Road and Heslaker Lane.
