Police investigate Skipton bus station assault

Police in Skipton are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in the town's bus station in the early hours of Saturday morning.

North Yorkshire Police say the man received injuries which required medical attention in the attack which took place just after midnight on Saturday (9th September).

Officers say there were several people in the area at the time of the incident - some were parked up in vehicles which may have had sight of the assault.

A spokesperson for the force said: "The man we are looking to speak to is white, in his early thirties, 5ft 10”, a stocky build with short fair hair and stubble on his face.

"He was wearing pink chino shorts and a white Givenchy t-shirt with black writing across the middle."

Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information that could help with the investigation to come forward.
