Stanbury Village School’s Logan crowned winner of MP’s Christmas Card competition

Logan, Aged 4, of Stanbury village school has been named the winner of Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore’s 2022 Christmas Card Competition.

The local MP received hundreds of entries from Primary Schools across Keighley, Ilkley, Craven and the Worth Valley, which were whittled down to eleven finalists and put to a public vote earlier this month.

After a close competition, Logan from Stanbury School was crowned the winner, with the design shown to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and featuring on the local MP’s 2022 Christmas card, which will be sent to hundreds of individuals and businesses across the area, as well as fellow MP’s.

Mr Moore will present Logan with a copy of the winning card and a Speaker’s Bear from the Houses of Parliament to congratulate him on the achievement.

Robbie Moore MP said: “A huge thank you to the hundreds of local primary school pupils who took part in my competition this year. We received so many brilliant entries and it was so difficult to choose the winner, which is why I put it to a public vote.

I want to congratulate Logan for his fantastic Robin on this year’s winning design, which has been sent to hundreds of residents and MP’s and even shown to our Prime Minister. Well done and a Happy Christmas to everyone involved!”
