Opening the 2025 Summer Concert Season at the Priory Church at Bolton Abbey, Crick, the artistic director and conductor of Skipton Camerata and the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra directs this talented string orchestra made up of local Yorkshire players in a programme of ‘Popular Baroque Classics’ and some beautiful pieces from the Romantic period including Elgar’s Introduction and Allegro, Finzi’s Romance, Janacek Idyll, Corelli Concerto Grosso in F major, Mendelssohn’s String Symphony in D minor. They will be joined by soloist Rosie Millar-Pollock in Albinoni’s beautiful Oboe Concerto in D minor.
