An Audience with Ilkley author Mandy Sutter will launch the 2025 Addingham Open Gardens in June.
Addingham Open Gardens 2025 is taking place over the weekend of 21st and 22nd June. Over 20 private and public spaces will be on display, with arts and cultural activities celebrating Bradford City of Culture, including art exhibitions and live music in selected gardens.
On Tuesday 17th June, the launch event at Addingham Memorial Hall is an audience with Mandy Sutter as she celebrates her illustrated memoir, Ted The Shed.
Mandy's late father, Ted, reached the top of an Ilkley allotment waiting list at 87 and recently widowed. The memoir is an endearing and humorous journey of managing the allotment with her father. It's a wonderful evening to celebrate gardening and allotmenteering together.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, providing care and support for families in our local community.
The ticket price for An Audience with Mandy Sutter is £7 in advance [£8 on the door], which includes a free glass of Prosecco.
Tickets for the Open Gardens are £6 per person, free for under-12s, granting access to all participating gardens.
Tickets for the launch event and Open Gardens are available from www.addinghamaga.org.uk
