Bus services will be disrupted by road closures for the Ilkley Half Marathon on Sunday 14th July, with buses unable to run to or from Ilkley for most of the morning.
Roads in Ilkley, Ben Rhydding and Addingham, along with the A65 between Ilkley and Addingham and the A59 at Bolton Bridge will all be effected - with most closing at 10.15am and reopening as the last runner passes.
The planned changes to local bus services this Sunday are as follows:
Keighley Bus service 62
· Journeys from Keighley at 1110 and 1210 will terminate at Addingham, Moor Park Way
· Journeys from Ilkley at 1200 and 1300 will start from Addingham, Moor Park Way.
· Ilkley will not be served on these journeys.
· The 0925 journey from Bradford to Skipton & Malham will divert from Shipley non-stop to Skipton Bus Station. Menston, Burley-in-Wharfedale, Ilkley and Addingham will not be served on this journey.
· Addingham and Ilkley will not be served between 0930 and 1330.
· The 1030 journey from Skipton will terminate at Bolton Bridge Devonshire Arms.
· The 1120 journey from Ilkley will start opposite Bolton Bridge Devonshire Arms at 1133.
· The morning journey to Bolton Abbey, Grassington and Buckden will divert between Otley and Bolton Bridge via Blubberhouses and the A59. Burley-in-Wharfedale, Ilkley and Addingham will not be served on this journey.
· The outward journey to Grassington and Hawes will divert non-stop between Guiseley and Skipton Craven Heifer. Menston, Burley-in-Wharfedale and Ilkley will not be served.

· Between 0745 and 1330 buses from Leeds will terminate at Burley-in-Wharfedale. Journeys towards Leeds will start in Burley-in-Wharfedale. Ilkley will not be served between these times.
The usual connection between DalesBus services 864, 874 & 875 at Ilkley Bus Station at 1020 will therefore not be available this Sunday. After the Cravenlink 864 departure to Skipton at 0920 and the service 62 departure to Keighley at 1000, the next bus from Ilkley Bus Station will be on Cravenlink service 864 to Skipton at 1340.
