Finalists announced for 2025 Skipton Business Awards

Skipton Business Awards

The Skipton Business Awards are set to return for their third year, organised by Skipton BID.

Craven College is the headline sponsor and Your Skipton Radio is the official media sponsor.

The event recognises businesses across the town, with nominations made by the public in 12 categories.

An independent judging panel reviewed the nominations on Friday, 8 August to determine this year’s finalists and the finalists have been announced.

New categories for 2025 include Arts & Culture Venue of the Year, Best Event, and Best New Business.

Finalists by category:

Arts & Culture Venue of the Year – Craven Museum & Gallery, Craven Arts Centre
Best Event – Santa Fun Run, Share Skipton Repair Café, Sheep Day
Best New Business – Nightshade, Skipton Deli, The ML
Business Service Award – ADNC Projects Ltd, Express Laundromat, Skipton Building Society High Street Branch
Coffee Shop of the Year – Bean Loved, Coopers Café, Kibble Bakery Coffee House
Hair & Beauty Salon of the Year – ASH, BOHO, Velvet Beauty Studios
Health & Wellbeing Business of the Year – Craven Community Boxing Club, Holistic House, Holistic Therapies by Alli
Leisure & Tourism Award – Skipton Boat Trips, Skipton Ghost Tour, Skipton Hotel
Pub or Bar of the Year – Boathouse, Nightshade, Speakeasy
Restaurant of the Year – Efendy, Le Caveau, Phoebe’s
Retailer of the Year – Bodyshop, Dogsbody and Friends, Victoria Coleman
Skipton’s Shining Star – Dean Majors, Mark Shaw, Share Skipton

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Monday 6 October in the Concert Hall at Skipton Town Hall.
