The Happy Voices Choir group from Bolton will be making their way to Skipton for the first time next year.
The group will be singing all around Skipton from 9-11th May 2025.
Happy Voices Choir is a musical theatre genre choir set up in 2017 by Helen Washington.
It began with just a few members and has grown to 3 choirs and over 80 members in just seven years.
Describing the group, Helen said:
"We sing Musical Theatre and popular songs in 2, 3 and 4-part harmony and have done 3 tours to Chester, North Wales and Lytham.
"We've raised hundreds of pounds for local charities including Bolton Hospice, Trinity Hospice, Blackpool St. David’s Hospice, N.Wales Chester Hospice and Kitty Rescue."
This will be the groups fourth tour - but their first trip to Skipton.
The tour is to raise money for the Sue Ryder Charity and have previously raised £1,000 in a weekend for the charity.
On Saturday 10th May the group will be performing at Skipton Castle and the Holy Trinity church.
