Families are being invited to join a pirate adventure at Skipton Town Hall this Sunday (4th October).
The Mystery of the Pirate Lagoon, presented by award-winning Cumbrian theatre company Ragged Edge, will bring a comic radio play to the stage at 2pm.
Audience members can help create sound effects and take part in scenes as they join the crew of The Prospero in search of treasure, while trying to escape the evil Captain Starkers.
The company returns following the success of The Mystery of the Blue Moon Saloon.
The production has been devised and is performed by Stefan Escreet, Peter Macqueen and Claire Webzell.
Previous audience members have praised the interactive format. One said:
“We really enjoyed feeling part of the production and learning about radio production.”
Another added:
“The cast make you feel so comfortable and at ease.”
The family-friendly show is recommended for ages eight and over, with visitors encouraged to dress up in pirate costumes.
Tickets cost £9. The performance lasts 90 minutes, with a further 20-minute interval.
Bookings can be made through the Skipton Town Hall website.
