An Andy's Man Club branch is set to open in Skipton on 2nd December.
The club will be located in Unit 2, Marton Mills on Sawley Street.
Andy's Man Club is a UK men's mental health charity offers free, confidential, and judgment-free peer-to-peer support groups for men over the age of 18.
The Andy's Man Club in Skipton will run exclusively every Monday from 7-9pm and doesn't require any booking.
A spokesperson for Andy's Man Club-Skipton said this on Facebook:
"We are delighted to be based at Skipton Men’s Shed on Sawley Street.
"In the meantime we are also based in Andys Man Club Keighley and Andys Man Club Settle.
"Remember…#ITSOKAYTOTALK"
The charity's aim is to eliminate the stigma surrounding men's mental health.
The charity takes its name from Andrew Roberts, a man who took his own life aged 23 in early 2016.
Andy’s family had no inkling that he was suffering or struggling to the extent that he would do this, and as a result looked deeper into male suicide and men’s mental health.
They discovered that male suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50, with male mental health surrounded by well-ingrained cultural stigma in the UK.
Andy’s Mum and Brother-in-Law, together they came up with the idea of Andy's Man Club.
The charity now has 3000 men attending weekly and 900+ facilitators.
