North Yorkshire Police have announced the refresh of their team of 11 neighbourhood officers.
These officers (Police Community Support Officers) provide community services in local areas by having a strong presence in neighbourhoods and communities.
They patrol their local area and deal with minor incidents and antisocial behaviour and support police officers in enforcing the law.
Their main focus is on crime prevention activities.
The new allocations are as follows:
- Inspector Emma Collins - Eastfield, Filey and Rural Scarborough
- Inspector Greg Davies - Harrogate Inner
- Inspector Nick Plumb - York Outer
- Inspector Ciaran Conlon - Richmond
- Inspector Craig Regan - Scarborough North, South and Town
- Inspector Holly Nicholls - Knaresborough, Boroughbridge and Ripon
- Inspector Jen Stockwell - York Inner (transferring shortly from Metropolitan Police)
- Inspector Martin Dennison - Malton
- Inspector Paul Crabtree - Skipton
- Inspector Rob Campbell - Selby
- Inspector Rory Sadler - Hambleton (transferring shortly from Cleveland Police)
Inspector Paul Crabtree will be responsible for leading our programme of neighbourhood engagement.
