Police inquire for man following violent incident in Skipton

The police have followed up on a previous appeal with a new CCTV image of the man they would like to speak to.

 

The man is believed to be in connection with a violent incident outside the Black Horse pub on the High Street, Skipton, at around 11.30pm on Friday 13 December 2024.

A man aged in his 20s, from Barnoldswick, remains in hospital after suffering a serious head injury.

Two men have been arrested and released on bail while the investigation continues.

They are a 55-year-old from Calderdale and a 30-year-old from Keighley.

North Yorkshire Police released an appeal on Facebook saying:

"Please contact us if you recognise the man pictured on CCTV.

"Email the investigating officer Nicky.Wareham@northyorkshire.police.uk if you can help.

"Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Nicky Wareham, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website."
