Families in Skipton are being invited to take part in a range of free Halloween-themed activities later this month.
Run by Skipton BID, the event will take place at the Canal Basin from 10am on Wednesday, October 29th.
The day will offer a mix of spooky fun for all ages.
Activities include a pop-up pumpkin patch and a carving workshop, but visitors will need to complete the town’s Monster Trail to take part.
The Monster Trail will have children finding ten monsters in local shop windows and writing down the letters they are hiding.
Those who find the hidden word will be entered into a prize draw.
Monster Trail leaflets will be available from Skipton Town Hall and Craven Court from October 25th and the leaflets must have been posted by 5pm Sunday 2nd November to be entered into the prize draw.
Alongside the trail and pumpkin carving, there will also be Halloween crafts, wildflower planting and seed-bombing sessions designed to get families creative and outdoors.
The event forms part of a series of local activities celebrating the Halloween season in Skipton.
