Due to planned engineering improvement works, services on the Wharfedale Line will be amended for 4 days in July, and now 3 days in August.
Network Rail announced the four weekend July dates, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th, a few weeks ago, and have now added three additional August dates, 1st to 3rd.
The engineering work included track renewal, tunnel repairs and groundwork engineering.
Passengers are advised to plan ahead, the following changes to services will be made:
Sundays 19th and 26th July

Trains between Leeds and Skipton will call additionally at Kirkstall Forge and Apperley Bridge

Trains between Bradford Forster Square and Skipton will be diverted to start / terminate at Leeds and will not call at Frizinghall

Buses will be provided between Bradford Forster Square and Shipley, and Ilkley
Saturday 1st, Sunday 2nd and Monday 3rd August

Trains between Leeds and Skipton will call additionally at Kirkstall Forge and Apperley Bridge

Trains between Bradford Forster Square and Skipton will be diverted to run between Ilkley and Skipton to an amended timetable

Trains between Leeds and Bradford Forster Square will not run
