Registration for the annual Great Santa Fun Run in Skipton opens today.
As of 9 am Monday, 18th May, registration has opened for the Santa Fun Run.
The run takes place each year, raising money for local charities.
The event was previously organised by the Rotary Club of Skipton Craven but this year due to the club's closure the event is being handed to The Rotary of Skipton and supported by the town council.
The 17th fun run, due to take place in the High Street on Sunday, November 29th with an 11am start, will mark the beginning of the town's festive celebrations.
Hundreds of runners and walkers in Santa outfits are expected to take place in the 5km run, which raises thousands of pounds for charity.
The day's activities will conclude at 5pm with the turning on of the Christmas lights.
