Robertshaw's Farm Shop, which originally started in Bradford will be expanding and opening a new shop in the heart of Skipton.
The shop will open for the first time on Thursday 27th March at 10am.
The farm shop will be located at the Gargrave Road premises which was formerly occupied by Keelham Farm Shop.
Keelham Farm Shop was sold for £2.2m to James Robertshaw.
Robertshaw’s Farm Shop is a family-run business that has been trading since 1929.
They are fourth generation farmers butchers and bakers, reflected in the quality of their award-winning products.
They have an on-site butchers and deli and a large offsite bakery to increase production of baked goods.
Ahead of the Skipton launch, major upgrading work has taken place at the premises.
James Robertshaw announced the arrival on Facebook saying:
"We have been very busy behind the scenes getting things ready for our new customers.
"Skipton will have an on site butchers, bakery, a delicatessen selling home-made products, fresh fruit and vegetables, a food to go counter, dried goods, beers, wines and spirits, a florist, a restaurant and a cafe."
He added,
"We are really excited to finally launch the new Skipton store, a ‘one stop’ farm shop set to complement our multi award-winning farm shop in Thornton."
The new shop is being managed by James’s son Harley, who has learned his trade through his time at Thornton.
