On 16th April, Skipton Pharmacy on Caroline Square held a coffee morning to raise funds for Cancer Reasearch UK.
The team took to Facebook yesterday to thank the community for their participation.
Their coffee morning raised £219 in just a few hours!
A spokesperson for the pharmacy said this on Facebook:
"With your incredible support, we raised £219 in just a few short hours!
"Special thanks to Kibble Bakery for partnering with us on the day, and to Mr. Malcolm for joining us to draw our raffle winners — even while under the weather.
They added,
"We are so proud to be part of this community and look forward to many more moments of coming together like this.
"Wishing you all a wonderful Spring season from everyone at Skipton Pharmacy!"
Kibble Bakery sponsored the event and the pharmacy held a raffle.
As a small Easter giveaway, the team also offered a prize of a £50 Amazon voucher.
