Skipton MP Sir Julian Smith is urging people in Craven to make sure their homes are protected against potential flooding.
He is encouraging people to check their flood risk, sign up for flood warnings, and create a personal flood plan.
The Environment Agency's flood action week ends on Sunday (October 19).
The campaign highlights the launch of the new 'get flood warnings' service, offering improved accessibility and reliability for alerts.
Sir Julian said,
“Flooding can have devastating consequences for homes, businesses and mental health. I urge everyone in Skipton and Ripon to take a few minutes this week to check their flood risk and make a plan. The Environment Agency’s resources make it easy to take action and stay safe.”
