The community project is running their youth competitions for children in the Craven area.
Thousands take part in the Rotary youth competitions each year.
With numerous competitions such as:
Rotary GB&I Young Artist
The Young Artist competition is run over the course of a school year, in three or four different heats; club level, district, regional and culminating in the national final. The competition is open to students in full time education in three age groups:
- Rotary GB&I Young Chef- Contestants prepare and present a three course meal within a pre-set budget and time limit, which is judged by an expert panel. Sam Craig the Skipton winner was crowned king of the kitchen in the 2025 Rotary Young Chef final.
- Rotary GB&I Youth Speaks A Debate
- Rotary GB&I Young Musician
- Rotary GB&I Young Photographer- Entrants submit three photographs on a theme in black and white or colour, along with a description of the inspiration for their photographs.
- Rotary GB&I Young Writer- The winning writers are published in Rotary magazines.
- Rotary GB&I Technology Tournament- Teams of students interested in engineering and science compete in a one day event to devise and build a solution to an unseen technical task.
- Rotary GB&I Young Citizen Awards- These showcase the citizenship and responsibilities demonstrated by people under the age of 25. Winners receive a cash prize of £500.
- Rotary GB&I Young Environmentalist Awards

The competitions are available to children up until the age of 17.
The winners of the local Rotary competition will have the opportunity to compete nationally.
