ConFest, the Cononley based annual music festival has chosen Airedale Hospital and Community Charity as their charity for 2025 following support given in 2024.
The fourth year of ConFest in 2024 saw an unprecedented number of festival goers securing a fantastic donation of £2121 made to Airedale Hospital and Community Charity’s Emergency Department Appeal.
Jodie Mitchell, ConFest organiser said:
“We love welcoming new and returning faces to the festival and watching it grow year on year. Airedale is my family’s closest hospital and will be for lots of our attendees so we’re really proud to support the charity with their current appeal.
“A fantastic amount was raised in 2024 through the generosity of the people attending and this brings us a huge sense of pride as organisers. We can’t wait to see what the 2025 event is going to bring.”
Funds raised through the Emergency Department Appeal will be put towards a refresh of the department’s bereavement facilities, paediatric waiting area and resuscitation area with a focus on creating a calm and safe space for patients.
Carla Weatherall, Fundraiser said:
“We had a fantastic time at ConFest last year, talking to local people from different communities about our charity and how their donations make a difference here at Airedale.
“We can’t wait to return for ConFest 2025 for an even bigger and better day! Tickets are on sale now, so be sure to grab them quickly as it’s sure to be a sellout.”
The event takes place on Saturday 19th July - day tickets for the festival are now available online, from The New Inn, Cononley, The Railway Inn, Cononley or The Cononley Village Store.
