Vision Express has announced that its store in Skipton will close this weekend.
Customers were informed that the Skipton branch of Vision Express, located on Sheep Street, is scheduled to close on Saturday (10th January).
The company said the decision forms part of a review of its store network.
In a message to customers, Vision Express confirmed that care and services will continue to be provided at a nearby location.
Patients registered with the Skipton store will be redirected to the branch at Airedale Shopping Centre in Keighley.
No further details have been released regarding the future of the Skipton premises or the impact on staff.
The Keighley store will continue to offer appointments and services to former Skipton customers, with bookings available as usual.
