A man wanted by North Yorkshire Police has been arrested in Skipton after officers discovered him hiding inside a wardrobe.
Officers from the Craven Neighbourhood Policing Team were carrying out enquiries in the town to locate people wanted by police when they attended an address linked to a man in his 50s.
The man was wanted for failing to attend court in connection with a number of offences.
According to North Yorkshire Police, the man attempted to avoid arrest by hiding inside a wardrobe.
Officers located him and took him into custody.
In a light-hearted social media post, the force said the wardrobe was "not a one-way trip to Narnia" but instead "a direct route to York Magistrates' Court", where the man will now answer for the offences.
North Yorkshire Police also thanked members of the public who provide information to help officers locate wanted individuals.
The force added:
"You can run, but you can't hide... especially not in a wardrobe."
