Afternoon drive time show presenter and co-founder

Nick has spent over 30 years presenting on radio stations in West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire and hosting private and corporate events. 

After presenting on Otley & Cookridge Hospital Radio in the late 1980s, Nick’s professional broadcasting career started at Leeds station Radio Aire in 1990, and later its sister station Magic 828, where he continued to present until 2005.

Whilst presenting in Leeds, Nick was a regular voice on Harrogate's Stray FM from 1998, whilst also popping up on Hudderfield's Home FM .  

Fresh Radio covering Skipton, Ilkley and the Dales is where Nick moved into management, both looking after programming and music scheduling as well as presenting a daily show.

Nick is also the founder and sole editor of Ilkley Chat, which has won many awards since starting in 2013 and now has more than 40,000 followers on social media and many weekly visitors to its website.

Since leaving school Nick has always had a love of music. He would spend 3 nights a week DJing at Regent Road Youth Club in Ilkley and turned his love of playing music into a entertainment businesses, providing professional discos and PA hire across the area and hosting many events over the years - such as the Ilkley Carnival, Skipton Sheep Day, Keighley Christmas Lights Switch On and Ilkley Business Awards.

Nick lives in Ilkley with his wife and son and teamed up with Stuart Clarkson in August 2020 to launch Rombalds Radio.
