Thorp Perrow Arboretum in Bedale covers 100 acres and is currently home to five national plant collections and 51 champion trees.

But that’s not all – you can also visit the Bird of Prey Centre, which holds close to 100 birds from all over the world, or hand feed the wallabies in the Mammal Centre!

And to blow off some steam, the kids can hit the adventure playground whilst the adults enjoy light bites and hot and cold drinks from the Tea Room.
