Organisers of this year’s Silsden Proms on the Farm have presented a cheque for £5,700 to Manorlands Hospice, following this summer’s event.
The Proms took place on Saturday 20th July on the town’s riverside field, with hundreds braving the showery weather to enjoy an evening of live music and dancing.
Money raised from the annual event, which includes a charity raffle and auction, is split between Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and Silsden Methodist Church.
Music was provided by the award-winning Tewit Silver Band who led the Proms-style celebrations with local singer April Elizabeth from Cononley. The Hot Aire Concert returned for a second year, while favourites The 1960 Four helped to encourage revellers to dance in the rain long into the night.

Lead organiser William Jowitt said: “A huge thank you to all those who came out to support Silsden Proms on the Farm again this year - the weather was mixed but the atmosphere was as brilliant as always.
“It’s a real community effort and we couldn’t put the Silsden Proms on without without the support of local people, businesses and organisations who give their time or money to help make the event such a big success.
“We’re already looking forward to next year’s Proms, which will be on Saturday 19th July 2025.”
