Elsworth at The Mill in Skipton is set to host its first Wedding Social next month.
The event will take place on Sunday 5th October from 10am to 1pm, aimed at bringing together a range of local wedding suppliers to encourage conversation and connections with brides-to-be.
Organisers say the gathering has been developed as an alternative to traditional wedding fayres, which are often centred on venues and can feel more formal.
Instead, the Wedding Social aims to create an informal environment where couples can meet suppliers directly.
Charlotte Hawkins, of Beauty in Bloom in Ilkley, one of the organisers, said:
“For a long time I have wanted to create a space to shine a light on all the wonderfully talented suppliers I meet in the wedding industry; I am so excited to be working with this team of amazing professionals, promoting what we all love and do best.”
Suppliers attending include:
- Jenson Samuel Menswear
- Leafy Couture Craven
- The Bridal Boutique Baildon
- Bronte Stylist & Prop Hire
- The venue itself, Elsworth at The Mill
The team behind the event includes Charlotte Hawkins, wedding planner and designer Freya Croisdale, cake designer Fran Dunderdale and photographer Georgie Beck.
Those wishing to attend can register their interest by emailing olivia@storytellermarketing.co.uk.
