The Skipton Giant Easter Egg Trail has attracted over 1,000 entries this year with tourists taking part too.
Tourists from as far afield as Scotland and Cambridge took part in the trail.
The trail guided participants around the town, including hidden gems which people may not ordinarily think to visit.
Completed trail sheets were entered into a prize draw to win fabulous prizes donated by Skipton BID and local Skipton businesses – including an Easter hamper full of treats, with a random prize draw determining the lucky winners!
The prizes were donated by Skipton BID and other local businesses.
First prize went to Florence from Skipton, second prize to Sophie from Colne, and third prize to Isabella from Skipton.
Skipton BID Manager, Sarah Howsen said:
“We’re thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback from participants.
"It was astounding to see just how many entries we received and from how far afield!”
She added:
“Events like this highlight everything our welcoming and vibrant town has to offer as a destination.
"The aim was to move people around the town to showcase everything our town boasts – which we’ve certainly achieved!
"We’ve been running trails like these for the last couple of years and this one has been by far the most popular.”
Skipton BID has plenty of plans for more trails and events around the town in the next year, so keep checking the Welcome to Skipton website and socials for the latest information.
