1st August brings Yorkshire Day and this year Skipton BID will be inviting Yorkshire vendors to exhibit for their Yorkshire themed market.
Yorkshire Day celebrations will be organised by Skipton BID with the support of local businesses.
Following the success of previous years, the Yorkshire market will return selling Yorkshire-made produce, crafts and goods showcasing the best our region has to offer.
This year the annual celebrations will take place in the Canal Basin.
The family-friendly event will run from 10 AM to 4 PM, featuring free activities and entertainment for all ages, including Morris dancers, face painting, and crafting activities for children.
Skipton BID Manager, Sarah Howsen, said:
“Yorkshire Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything we love about our county.
"From our rich history to our incredible local businesses and community spirit, there truly is something for everyone to enjoy in Skipton.
"We’re proud to host such a highly anticipated event and look forward to welcoming everyone on 1st August to join in with our free family-friendly celebrations!”.
To register your interest, please email info@skiptonbid.com by Monday 5th May.
